Skorodumov Gavriil Ivanovich

Gavriil Ivanovich Skorodumov (1755–1792) was a Russian engraver, miniaturist, and watercolorist. He studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts under A. P. Losenko and A. F. Radig. In 1772, he was awarded a large gold medal for his engravings. In 1773, he was sent to England as a pensioner of the Academy. From 1785, he served as an academician, court engraver, and curator of engravings at the Hermitage.
