Drittenpreis Vladimir Petrovich

1878 — 1916
Vladimir Petrovich Drittenpreis was a painter, graphic artist, and architect. He created symbolic-allegorical compositions, still lifes, portraits, decorative miniatures, as well as architectural projects and interiors. He collaborated with the magazines 'Vesy' (The Scales) and 'Zolotoye Runo' (The Golden Fleece). From 1898 to 1908, he studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (MUZhVZ) in the architecture department, where he was awarded silver medals. He was a member of the 'Blue Rose' artistic group and a founding member of the 'Free Aesthetics' society. He participated in the 'Venok. Stefanos' exhibitions, S. Makovsky's 'Salon', and 'Mir Iskusstva' (World of Art).
