Brodskaya Lidia Isaakovna

Lidia Isaakovna Brodskaya (1910–1991) was a painter, People's Artist of the USSR, and corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts. From 1935 to 1939, she was an auditor at the All-Russian Academy of Arts in the studio of I. I. Brodsky and later studied under N. P. Krymov. In 1977, she was awarded the I. E. Repin State Prize of the RSFSR for a series of landscapes, including "Evening" (1977) and "Taiga Frost" (1979). In 1981, she received a silver medal from the USSR Academy of Arts. She was also awarded several USSR state medals.
