Shishko Sergey Fyodorovich

Sergey Fyodorovich Shishko was a Soviet painter and People's Artist of the USSR (1974). He studied at the Kiev Art Institute (1929–1933) and the Leningrad Academy of Arts (1936–1943). He is known as an author of lyrical landscapes, primarily dedicated to Kiev. His works include: "Vladimirskaya Gorka" (1946), "Dnieper. View of Podol" (1950), "Dnieper in the Morning" (1953), "New Kiev" (1960), and "Kiev Distance" (1974).
