Vukolov Oleg Alexandrovich

Oleg Alexandrovich Vukolov is a painter, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts. In 1958, he graduated from the I. E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad. In 1979, he was awarded the Moscow City Council Prize for his painting 'Lovers', and in 1982, he received the USSR Union of Artists and Ministry of Railways Prize for the painting 'Siberian Mainline'. Significant works include 'White Sea' (1971), 'Frontline Correspondents' (1973), 'The Bulgakovs' (1975), and the 'Moscow' triptych (1983). His works are held in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, and other collections.
