Milioti Nikolai Dmitrievich

Nikolai Dmitrievich Milioti was a painter and graphic artist, portraitist, and creator of still lifes, landscapes, and symbolist compositions. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture under N. A. Kasatkin, S. V. Ivanov, V. A. Serov, and K. A. Korovin. He was a member of the "Blue Rose" art group and the "Free Aesthetics" society. After 1917, he emigrated, living in Berlin and Paris, where he collaborated with N. Goncharova and taught at the "Russian Academy." His works are held in the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, and museum collections in France, Australia, Serbia, and other countries.
