Kondratenko Gavriil Pavlovich

1854 — 1924
Gavriil Pavlovich Kondratenko was a Russian landscape painter and illustrator. He studied at the Academy of Arts under M. K. Klodt. He is known for his 'exotic' landscapes of Crimea and the Caucasus featuring moonlight effects. An active public figure, he initiated the creation of the Charitable Committee for Red Cross Sisters. His works are held in the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, and other collections.
