Katsman Evgeny Alexandrovich

Evgeny Alexandrovich Katsman (1890–1976) was a painter, Soviet portraitist, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, and corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts. He graduated from the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1916) in the studios of K. A. Korovin and S. V. Malyutin. He was one of the organizers and active members of AKhRR. He worked primarily in sanguine and pastel techniques.
