Goryachev Semen Petrovich

Semen Petrovich Goryachev (1911–1998) was a painter, graphic artist, and Honored Artist of Russia (1983). He graduated from the Yaroslavl Art and Pedagogical College (1933) and became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR in 1937. From 1952 to 1954, he served as the chairman of the board of the Yaroslavl Union of Artists. He was a laureate of the A. M. Opekushin Regional Prize (1995). His works are held in museum collections in Yaroslavl, Ryazan, Grozny, and other cities.
