Golitsyn Illarion Vladimirovich

Illarion Vladimirovich Golitsyn was a graphic artist, painter, and People's Artist of the Russian Federation. From 1946 to 1953, he studied at the Stroganov School and mastered etching techniques at the I. I. Nivinsky Studio. Until the 1970s, he worked primarily in graphic arts before focusing on oil painting and watercolor. In 2003, he was awarded the State Prize of the Russian Federation for his series 'House in Novogireevo.' His legacy includes portraits, landscapes, genre series, and sculptures.
