Godyna Sergei Mitrofanovich

Sergei Mitrofanovich Godyna was a painter, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, professor at the Department of Painting of the Stroganov Moscow State University of Design and Applied Arts, and a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute in 1950. During the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945), he worked in the Grekov Studio of Military Artists. He was awarded the Medal 'For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945' and other decorations.
