Elchaninov Vladimir Vasilyevich

Vladimir Vasilyevich Elchaninov is a Soviet and Russian artist, People's Artist of the Russian Federation (1995), and a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1963). He graduated from the Moscow Art and Graphic College (1954) and the Moscow V. I. Lenin State Pedagogical Institute (1960). He is the author of notable paintings such as 'The Little Shepherd', 'Tvardovsky. Smolensk Land', 'Flax', and 'August'. A participant in numerous all-Union and international exhibitions, he has held six solo exhibitions. His works are held in museum collections in Russia, Armenia, Georgia, and private collections abroad.
