Vishnevetskaya Sofya Kasyanovna

Sofya Kasyanovna Vishnevetskaya (1899–1963) was a theatrical artist. She graduated from the Murashko School of Painting and the State Art Workshops in Kiev (1920). She designed mass revolutionary celebrations in Kiev (1919) and, starting in 1921, worked at the Moscow Chamber Theatre, where she designed a number of productions in collaboration with artist E. M. Fradkina. Later, she worked with various theaters across the country.
