Vakidin Viktor

1911 — 1991
Viktor Vakidin (1911–1991) was a graphic artist, draftsman, printmaker, illustrator, and painter. He studied at the Moscow Vkhutemas-Vkhutein (1928–1935). He worked in theater and created monumental murals. A member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation, he began participating in exhibitions in 1937. His work is characterized by an intellectual interpretation of nature and space. His pieces are held in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and other public and private collections.
