Tatarinov German Alexeyevich

German Alexeyevich Tatarinov (1925–2006) was an Honored Artist of the RSFSR, a painter, graphic artist, and member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. A veteran of the Great Patriotic War, he was awarded the Order of the Red Star and several medals. He graduated from the Naval Political School (1952) and the Moscow Polygraphic Institute (1961). From 1961, he worked as an artist at the Combine of Pictorial and Decorative Arts. He began exhibiting in 1967 and joined the Union of Artists in 1972. His work includes landscapes, still lifes, and genre compositions. Solo exhibitions were held in Leningrad (1975) and Myshkin (1999). His works are held in private collections.
