Rukhin Yevgeny Lvovich

1943 — 1976
Yevgeny Lvovich Rukhin was a Russian artist and a prominent representative of unofficial art. In 1966, he graduated from the Faculty of Geology at Leningrad State University, and from 1964 to 1965, he attended lectures at the Mukhina Leningrad Higher School of Art and Industry. He created abstract collage paintings, experimenting with texture, antique objects, and iconographic motifs. He was one of the leaders of the nonconformist movement and an organizer of independent exhibitions. His final works contain the prophetic inscription "Never Good-Bye."
