Popov Igor Alexandrovich

Igor Alexandrovich Popov (born 1927) is a Soviet painter. He graduated from the Surikov Moscow Art Institute in 1951 and became a member of the USSR Union of Artists in 1954. He has been an active participant in all-Union and international exhibitions since 1953. He is the author of genre paintings, landscapes, and still lifes, including "Moscow. 1918" (1957), "Novgorod Fishermen" (1960), and a series of still lifes. His works are represented in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, as well as in museums in Kyiv, Kirov, and Lviv.
