Papikyan Albert Stepanovich

Albert Stepanovich Papikyan (1926–1997) was a People's Artist of the RSFSR and a full member of the Russian Academy of Arts. He graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School and the I. E. Repin Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (B. V. Ioganson's studio). He is the author of the diploma work 'Stakhanovites of Sevanstroy'. His works are held in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Museum of the Leningrad Academy of Arts, and other collections of the former USSR.
