Lebedeva Raisa Ivanovna

Raisa Ivanovna Lebedeva (born 1940) is a painter, theatrical designer, and professor at the Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute. She is an Honored Artist of the RSFSR and a People's Artist of the Russian Federation. She graduated from the Savitsky Penza Art College and the theatrical design department of the Surikov Institute (1974). She worked as a set designer at the Penza Drama Theater, creating designs for over 20 productions. A member of the USSR Union of Artists since 1982, she has taught at the Surikov Institute since 1977. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and has been awarded a diploma from the Academy of Arts. Her works are held in private collections in Russia and abroad.
