Gremitskikh Vladimir Georgievich

Vladimir Georgievich Gremitskikh was a painter, a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, and an Honorary Art Worker of Russia. From 1932 to 1936, he studied at the Moscow Art School in memory of 1905 under K. K. Zefirov and M. Sokolov. From 1936 to 1942, he studied at the Surikov Moscow Art Institute under P. D. Pokarzhevsky, V. V. Pochitalov, I. E. Grabar, and S. V. Gerasimov. Since 1943, he was a regular participant in Moscow, republican, and all-Union exhibitions. His works are held in the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Museum of the Defense of Moscow, various regional Russian museums, and private collections worldwide.
