Goryaev Sergey Vitalyevich

Sergey Vitalyevich Goryaev (born 1958) is a painter, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1997), and People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2003). He graduated from the Stroganov Moscow State University of Design and Applied Arts (1983). Since 1983, he worked at the Moscow Combine of Monumental and Decorative Art, becoming its artistic director in 1993. He has held leadership positions within the Union of Artists of Russia and the Moscow Union of Artists. He is an academician of the Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and Arts and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts. He has been awarded the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts and the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation.
