Glebov Fyodor Petrovich

Fyodor Petrovich Glebov (1914–1980) was a Soviet painter, landscape artist, and Honored Artist of the RSFSR. He graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute, where he studied under S. V. Gerasimov and A. A. Osmerkin. He worked in the linocut technique, creating illustrations for literary works. In his later period, he became famous for a series of landscapes dedicated to Pushkin-related sites, characterized by monumentality and deep lyricism.
