Evreinov Dmitry Ivanovich
1742 — 1814
Dmitry Ivanovich Evreinov was a miniature painter and portraitist. He studied in Geneva. In 1773, he received the title of "appointed" at the Academy of Arts, and in 1776, for his work "Enamel piece representing Pygmalion," he was awarded the title of academician. From 1799, he served as a councilor of the Academy of Arts. Between 1801 and 1811, commissioned by the President of the Academy A. A. Stroganov, he created enamel miniatures for the tabernacle of the Kazan Cathedral in St. Petersburg.
