Didenko Rafail Andreevich

Rafail Andreevich Didenko (born 1927) is a Merited Artist of the Russian Federation. He graduated from the Moscow Higher School of Art and Industry (formerly Stroganov) in 1954, having studied under A. V. Kuprin and S. V. Gerasimov. He has been a member of the Union of Artists since 1964. From 1956 to 1980, he taught at the Moscow Art School in Memory of 1905. Working in the style of Russian realism, he creates psychological portraits, landscapes, still lifes, and genre compositions. His works are held in museum and private collections worldwide.
