Vsemirnaya Geografiya

'World Geography' is a major publication by the St. Petersburg-based 'Prosveshcheniye' publishing house, comprising fundamental works on geography and regional studies. The series includes works by F. Ratzel ('The Earth and Life', volumes I and II), F. Hahn ('Africa'), W. Sievers and W. Kükenthal ('Australia'), W. Sievers ('Asia', 'South and Central America'), and A. Philippson ('Europe'). The volumes are richly illustrated with engravings, chromolithographs, and maps, and feature translations from German supplemented by scientific commentary from Professor A. N. Krasnov.
