Porfiry Nikitich Krylov (1902–1990) was a Soviet painter, graphic artist, full member of the USSR Academy of Arts, and People's Artist of the USSR. He graduated from VKhUTEIN in 1927, studying under A. A. Osmerkin, A. V. Shevchenko, and A. P. Konchalovsky. As a member of the 'Kukryniksy' collective (alongside M. V. Kupriyanov and N. A. Sokolov), he worked in political satire, posters, and book illustration. As an independent painter, he focused on portraits, landscapes, and still lifes. He was a laureate of the Lenin Prize, six USSR State Prizes, and the I. E. Repin State Prize of the RSFSR. His works are held in the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the N. P. Krylov Art Museum in Tula, and the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
