Nikolai Ivanovich Savenkov is a painter. He studied at the Kursk Art School starting in 1935. In 1959, he enrolled in the Moscow Higher School of Art and Design (formerly the Stroganov School). After graduating, he moved to Lipetsk, where he established himself as a monumental artist, creating mosaics for the facades of various schools, cultural centers, and the Spartak building. The theme of sports is central to his easel painting. For Savenkov, art is not merely work, but a state of mind and a constant pursuit of perfection.
