Khukhrov Yury Dmitrievich
1932 — 2003
Yury Dmitrievich Khukhrov (1932–2003) was a painter, a representative of the Leningrad School of Painting, and a member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. In 1958, he graduated from the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (B. Ioganson's studio). From 1962 to 1969, he taught at the Mukhina Higher School of Art and Design. His work reflects an interest in Cézanne and early Cubism, characterized by rhythmic composition and specific color usage. His works are held in museum and private collections in Russia, Finland, the USA, China, Japan, Germany, and Italy.
