Khaimov Yakov Markovich - painter, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, a bright representative of the Moscow school of painting. Brilliant colorist.
Yakov Khaimov graduated from the Art Studio at the MHI, studied under Aminadav Kanevsky. In 1935, he entered the MHI, where at that time taught Igor Grabar, Alexander Osmorkin, Boris Ioganson. He was close to an artistic circle that included Aristarkh Lentulov, Vladimir Favorsky, Alexander Deineka, and Georgy Ryazhsky. During the war, he was evacuated to Uzbekistan with other students of the institute, where he worked under the guidance of Sergei Gerasimov. He developed as a plein-air painter. Since 1946, he has participated in major art exhibitions.
