Kazakevich Lev Nikolayevich

Lev Nikolayevich Kazakevich (born 1916) is a Soviet artist and educator. He is a graduate of the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. He worked for the 'Kaluga Artist' association and taught drawing and drafting. In his work, he paid special attention to the theme of Alexander Pushkin, creating landscapes and portraits related to the poet's life. He is also known for his group portrait of scientists K. E. Tsiolkovsky and A. L. Chizhevsky, in which he sought to convey their intellectual kinship and the scale of their thinking.
