Ryauzov Boris Yakovlevich

Boris Yakovlevich Ryauzov (1919–1994) was a painter, People's Artist of the RSFSR, and full member of the Russian Academy of Arts. He studied at the Omsk Art School. He taught at the Krasnoyarsk State Institute of Arts and served as chairman of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR. He was a laureate of the Repin State Prize of the RSFSR for a series of paintings depicting historical sites in Siberia associated with the life of V. I. Lenin. He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and the Order of the Red Star.
