Mirzazade Beyukaga

Beyukaga Mirzazade (1921–2007) was a prominent Azerbaijani artist, People's Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR, and professor. In 1939, he graduated from the Baku Art College, where he studied under Azim Azimzade. In 1940, he enrolled at the Moscow Art Institute but interrupted his studies due to the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War. He later graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. He taught at the Baku Art College, headed a department at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, and served as a professor at the Azerbaijan Academy of Arts. His works are held in the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, the Nizami Ganjavi Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, and the Baku Museum of Modern Art.
