Kokorin Anatoly Vladimirovich

Anatoly Vladimirovich Kokorin was a graphic artist, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, and Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR. He graduated from the Polygraphic Institute in 1932, studying under S. V. Gerasimov and L. A. Bruni. From 1943 to 1953, he was an artist at the Grekov Studio of Military Artists. He worked primarily in watercolor and pencil, illustrating classical literature. He was a recipient of the Gold Medal of the Academy of Arts of the USSR and a bronze medal at the International Book Art Exhibition in Leipzig.
